GladiatorUp.com is an independent blog / digital magazine dedicated to the Jeep® Gladiator lifestyle and the wider world of vehicle-based adventure travel (overlanding.) It’s built by a weekend warrior who loves turning wrenches, hitting the dirt, and sharing the thoughts and stories that come from the unpaved life.
Here you’ll find a mix of rig tips, gear reviews, trail guides and reports (see Overlanding The South), and community commentary—all from the perspective of someone who hasn’t quit his day job to become a full-time content creator (no digs – I’m a fan). You can live it out one expedition, one trail, one campfire at a time.
This project is fueled by passion, curiosity, and the desire to encourage others, no matter what your rig or travel experience – to get out more and explore responsibly.

I’m Doug—creator of GladiatorUp.com, Jeep Gladiator owner, lifelong explorer, and former touring musician. These days, I trade tour buses for trailheads, but the rhythm of the road still drives me. Here you'll find my take on overlanding-style camping, gear, and getting out there—plus a few songs from the campfire.

From time to time, I host small trail rides and campouts for fellow Jeep and overland enthusiasts—simple gatherings where we swap stories, test gear, and enjoy the outdoors. I also attend and perform at select overlanding and outdoor industry events throughout the Southern U.S., sharing my music and making new friends.
